The Patrón de Navegación Básica qualifies you to navigate up to 5 miles from a port or place of shelter with vessels up to 8 metres. Practice with the complete question bank by module, the official exams, and simulations identical to the real exam (27 questions, 17 to pass).
PNB or PER?
The PER is the most sought-after qualification (12 miles and 15 metres); the PNB is a more limited version (5 miles, 8 metres) but shares much of the syllabus. If in doubt, it is usually advisable to go straight for the PER. Both are fully available on ExamiNáutica.
